"Someone told me about Bakewell Cream and how it makes the best biscuits. They were right, with no aftertaste. When I ordered on line is saw they carried a whole line of baking goods. I tried the blueberry pancake, cookies and a few dips. I have tried them all and I am going to order more. Thank You New England Cupboard, Great Job"

"Bakewell Cream is the best they make absolutely fantastic biscuits and even better if you use buttermilk. They always rise beautifully and are light and fluffy. Everyone loves them. I even use Bakewell Cream as a substitute for baking powder. It tells you how too on the side of the can"
--Karen Maune- Sugar Land, TX

"I have lived in Maine my whole life. I learned to make these biscuits as a teen in the 1960's and they are never fail. I even use oil instead of butter and they are delicious! They are great wtih butter, jam, honey or plain! My mom used to use wrap the dough around a hot dog and bake as usual for pigs in blanket."
--Mary Jefferson- ME

"I use Bakewell Cream in my Lemon Meringue Pie. I use it in the meringue instead of cream of tarter and there is no difference in the taste of the meringue. My mom introduced to me when I was a young housewife back in the early 70s and have been using it ever since. It makes the best biscuits. I also use it my cake recipes. Thanks for such a great product."

"I just ordered my Bakewell Cream after reading so many reviews on King Arthur Flour and this website. I cannot wait to try the biscuits (love making bread products)."

"Amazing! Just got my order and made the biscuits recipe on the can of the Bakewell Cream today. I have been a home baker for many years, (over 50) and have NEVER had biscuits like these! Now I need to find new recipes and also see how it works in all of my other recipes. Thank you New England Cupboard for a prompt delivery and a very fair price. I just wish I could find the product in the Northwest, but until someone gets smart here, I will order from The New England Cupboard!"

"A few days ago my friend (who uses Bakewell Cream all the time) gave us three of your bisquits to have with a beef stew. Wow! My husband went nuts over them. I did too, for that matter. As a result, I have just ordered your cookbook and the Bakewell Cream. Now I'll be able to make the biscuits (among other yummy things) right here at home. Needless to say, I'm really anxious to get my order so I can get started. Thanks for the great biscuit recipe."

"I have been making Bakewell Cream Biscuits since 1980. My Mother-in-Law told me about the recipe on the can, and that it never failed her. It has never failed me either. As a matter of fact, I moved from Maine to Virginia in 2003, and always purchase Bakewell Cream when I go home to visit. Thanks for making such a "never fail" recipe!"

"So I scored a can of Jimbo's Hot and Spicy Rub at the Folk Festival booth this year and it is a winner! Plenty of heat but not overpowering, this habanero mix has terrific flavor. It was easy to use, just follow the suggestions on the can. Really fine mixing with no clumps, this rub was delicious to the bottom of the can. Thanks, Jimbo!"
--Gregg Stewart- Brewer, Maine

"A few weeks ago I contacted your company with a question about Bakewell Cream. My last few batches of biscuits had failed and I was concerned that the Bakewell had gone stale after being opened for some time. A nice man named Jim telephoned me and had me test the Bakewell and my baking soda. Both were OK. I then wondered aloud if it might be my oven. Well, after some testing with an oven thermometer, it definitely was the oven. I had set the oven at 475 as suggested in your recipe, and when the preheat signal sounded, the thermometer registered 300!! We bought a new stove today which will be delivered Tuesday. The first thing to go into the new oven will be Bakewell Cream biscuits. Thank you for contacting me and helping me to solve this dilemna."
