These BBQ rubs are very easy to use. Just sprinkle some on whatever you’re going to cook and rub it in. A helpful hint is not to use too much - just a nice coating will do. For meats, apply the BBQ rub and refrigerator for a few hours or even over night before cooking to enhance the flavor.
Place a few pieces of chicken in a bowl, sprinkle some BBQ Rub over them, and rub all of the spices into the meat. This can be used on whole or boneless chicken. Also works very well on turkey, cornish hens, duck and other poultry.
Rubs can be applied to all kinds of steaks, pot roasts, London broil, pork chops, pork roast, lamb, or the meat of your choice. A simple application method is to place some BBQ Rub on a large plate, then place your meat on the plate, pat it down, turn it over, and rub the spices into the meat. Cook meats as you normally would. For especially flavorful hamburgers, mix the BBQ Rub into the meat.
Apply a nice coating of BBQ Rub to any seafood, then cook it using your regular method.
Veggie Burgers: Just rub some on both sides of a veggie burger and grill. If using frozen burgers, moisten the surface before applying the rub.
Skewered Vegetables: Cut up onions, peppers, mushrooms, etc. and place them on a skewer. Run some water over the skewered veggies, then sprinkle some BBQ Rub on all sides before grilling.
Corn-on-the Cob: Sprinkle BBQ Rub on freshly cooked corn-on-the cob, the place the corn on the grill for a minute or two.
Potatoes: Dice potatoes, wash, pat dry, coat with a little oil, then place in a plastic bag with some BBQ Rub and shake. Cook in a frying pan or on a roasting pan in the oven.
